So about this bag... For as long as I can remember I have been attached to one bag and one bag only. Cressi's Apnea Team gear bag has been my bag of choice for many, many years! I thought it was irreplaceable and that none other could come close in terms of sizing, features, and quality. Well, about three months ago I was given a Beuchat Antilles Dry to try out and I must admit that I was skeptical when I first pulled the bag out and started transfering my gear over to it for the next days dive. Man was my skeptisicm misguided! The bag is absolutely AWESOME! First, it is big enough to hold my typical days gear (2 pairs of long fins, 2 masks, 2 snorkels, 2 pairs of gloves, 2 wetsuits -full 3.5mm and 1mm-, 2 pairs of socks, float, floatline, spare knife, first aid kit, and a lot of other misc. stuff) with plenty of room to spare. Amazingly enough the filled bag is much more convenient to carry around than the Cressi. I think it must be the fact that it is narrower, but it is definitely much easier to transport. Also, the strong grab handles at each end make it easy to toss about. Okay, before this gets too long I will jump to some other specifics. It is waterproof! So I toss my dry clothes in there while I'm diving and at the end of the day I pull out my nice dry clothes and toss in my soaking wet gear and suit. I can then take it and toss it in a car without leaving a drip of water! When I get home I open the zipper under the flap and the purge valve and it dries out nice and quick. Last but not least, the look is awesome and the material is extremely rugged! Granted I have only been using it for three months, but it has been heavy usage and I have not been kind to it :-). Torsion2 System

Manufacturer: Salvi Mar

The patented Torsion2 system resulted from long studies and numerous tests. The project transpired from an ingenious idea by Ivan Barella and it has been developed in order to create an innovative product which in turn will improve the hydrodynamic characteristics and consequently the performance of the "Tahitian" shaft. The Torsion2system came to light due to the support and expertise of Massimo Quattrone an experienced professional diver. Numerous tests were also carried out in the field before the final product came to fruition.

Characteristics of the Torsion2system:

• The Hydrodynamicshape has been improved, there are no protruding particles that can create friction. The system allows very fast shots. The section does not exceed 8 mm in diameter which is 1.5 mm less than the traditional system.
• Incredible penetration
• Precisionis guaranteed by the floating system and the shaft profile is not altered
• Retentionis guaranteed by a 1.2 mm thickness strength barb. It rotates 360 degrees around the shaft and flows on it for about 60 mm.
• Small penetration holeson the fish due to the fact there are no protruding particles.
• Strength. The lack of classical cross holes on the shaft, normally used to assemble the pin, provides an incredible strength to the shaft in its critical point.

The Torsion2system can be easily replaced. Heat the cone part until a temperature of 200 degrees and the glue used in assembly will begin to soften, at this point you can easily remove the cone.
Once replaced the barb, the cone can be secured by the using the special glue.

Rob Allen Slip Tube

So effective on large pelagics and so different from conventional slip tips that it has had to be patented. Allows accurate shooting with Euro style guns and avoids the compromise that previously had to be made between a loose fitting tip for deployment and a tight fit for accuracy.
